MEMO TO:THE ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA UNIVERSITY (ADZU) COMMUNITY
RE: SUSPENSION OF CLASSES, WORK AND OTHER MATTERS RELEVANT TO THE CURRENT CRISIS SITUATION
As part of our continuing effort to monitor and assess the on-going crisis in our City, the AdZU Presidential Management Team (PMT) has set a series of meetings. From its meeting yesterday afternoon, 17 September 2013 , I wish to inform the community on the following:
I. SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AND WORK:
For the full week of September 16-21, 2013 (Monday to Saturday) — Classes and work shall continue to be suspended on these days.
September 23 and 24, 2013 (Monday and Tuesday) – ONLY CLASSES shall continue to be suspended. All Faculty and Staff in all levels are requested to report to Fr Eusebio G Salvador SJ Campus, Campion Lecture Hall (2nd floor BC Bldg) at 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM for some special sessions/briefing. A separate announcement shall be issued if and when the situation does NOT permit based on the assessment of the PMT. WHEN NO SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT IS ISSUED, IT MEANS THAT THE SPECIAL SESSIONS/BRIEFING SHALL PUSH THROUGH.
II. TRACKING OF AFFECTED STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF
We are highly encouraging those AdZU students, faculty, and staff who have been displaced/affected by the conflict situation to contact any of the following campuses:
