Vision

A dynamic educational institution that serves, within its spheres of academic and formational expertise and competence, as a catalyst for development and progress of Zamboanga City and Western Mindanao.

Mission

Guided by the ideals of Ateneo de Zamboanga University, the Graduate School endeavors to prepare students to be men and women of competence and conscience, equipped with academic learning and desired skills, and personally formed to act, according to St. Ignatius of Loyola’s spirit of services.

Goals

To provide the communities we serve with highly skilled and competent graduates who can effectively act as agents of change. This may be achieved through the courses relevant to the development directions of the city and the region and through the research capabilities of the students.

Specifically, the Graduate School aims:

to produce professionals who are fully equipped with skills and competencies required of, and considered important in their respective chosen careers;
to form graduate-level students to be effective agents of change according to Ateneo de Zamboanga’s defined Vision and Mission;
to offer courses relevant to, and supportive of the development thrusts of the city in particular and the region in general;
to strengthen research activities in all fields of discipline, continuously instilling in the students the significance of research in the day to day work of their respective institutions.
