JHS Eagles Clinch Master in Robotics Award at 2026 TechQuest

Demonstrating innovation, precision, and excellence, students from Ateneo de Zamboanga University Junior High School (AdZU JHS), representing Region IX Team B, emerged as standout innovators at the 2026 TechQuest: National Robotics Challenge, a premier Philippine robotics competition for junior and senior high school students, powered by the DigiPlus Foundation and organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through its SPARK Project. The competition provided a platform for collaboration and digital learning, highlighting the role of robotics education in developing future-ready Filipino learners.

The AdZU JHS team—composed of Andryx Lei M. Panaguiton (ITS Club) and France E. Janea (SocMat Club), under the guidance of coach Christian Dale A. Punzalan—clinched the Master in Robotics Award, recognizing their innovation, creativity, and technical excellence.

Grounded in the Ignatian tradition of excellence and service, their achievement as Region IX Team B reflects the growing potential of young innovators in advancing technology and engineering in the country.
