In the spirit of magis and Ignatian dedication to quality education, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University proudly celebrates three esteemed members of the community whose passion and dedication were recognized during the 2025 PAASCU General Assembly held on November 14, 2025, at Conrad Manila.
With this year’s theme, “Transformative Education for Life: Shaping a Future where Learning, Trust, and Technology Align,” PAASCU gathered educators and institutions committed to fostering excellence and integrity in Philippine education.

Among the delegates, three AdZU leaders were recognized for their outstanding service in advancing the quality of education in the university and beyond. Global Paths-Internationalization (GPI) Office Director Br Jeffrey Pioquinto SJ, was honored for his 10 Survey Visits, demonstrating steadfast service and commitment to elevating educational standards. Vice President for Basic Education (VPBEd) Mr Jeffey Jalani was awarded for his 10 Survey Visits, reflecting his consistent engagement in upholding academic excellence across institutions. Completing the trio of honorees, Office of Mission Integration and Leadership Development (OMILD) Director Ms Renee Vieve Vecina-Kanindot was recognized for her outstanding 25 Survey Visits, a testament to her long-standing leadership and dedication to quality assurance.




These achievements are the fruits of Compañerismo, working together as one to uplift and empower both students and educators through initiatives that transform and leave a lasting impact.
