The College of Nursing at Ateneo de Zamboanga University received a meaningful donation from the BSN Batch 2003 alumni group, fondly known as “Pleomorphics.” The group turned over two brand new spine boards with straps, a gesture aimed at enhancing the college’s emergency response capability and supporting the practical training of its nursing students.
Mr. Michael Lladones, a member of the batch, shared the update on social media, expressing pride in the initiative:
“Not the most expensive equipment, but nonetheless, the BEST gesture so far from my classmates, BSN 2003 ‘Pleomorphics.’ Our class donated two brand new spine boards with straps to ADZU College of Nursing to strengthen our ability to respond to emergencies and support the learning of nursing students. This is MAGIS and CURA PERSONALIS in action!”
The university extends its heartfelt gratitude to the BSN 2003 alumni for their generosity and continued commitment to uplifting nursing education. Their donation embodies the Ignatian values of magis—doing more for others—and cura personalis—care for the whole person, which remain at the heart of AdZU’s mission.
