AMAZING ATENEANS | JPIA-AdZU Shines at NMYC 2026

The Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants of Ateneo de Zamboanga University (JPIA-AdZU) proudly represented the University at the 28th National Mid-Year Convention, Labyrinth of Legends: The Grand Gambit, held on February 12-15, 2026, at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay, Batangas.

The National Mid-Year Convention (NMYC) is a national gathering of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy students from across the Philippines. It serves as a venue for participants to engage in both academic competitions related to the field of accountancy and non-academic events.

Rising to the challenge, the delegation demonstrated academic excellence and embodied the Ignatian value of magis, as several JPIANs advanced as qualifiers across various competitions.

More than a display of skill and intellect, their participation reflects the University’s commitment to forming individuals who strive for excellence in the service of others. Indeed, beyond conquering the labyrinth, JPIA-AdZU continues to set the standard. Proving that through discipline, competence, and a steadfast pursuit of excellence, greatness remains within reach.

Padayon, JPIA-AdZU. May you continue to bring honor to the University and inspire others to become persons for and with others.
