The College Campus Ministry, together with the Zamboanga, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi Association of Private Schools (ZAMBASULTAPS) and the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines of Region 9 (CEAP – IX), hosted the 7th Campus Ministry Regional Assembly on April 9-12, 2013 at the Euntes Mission Center, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.
The theme of this gathering was “Campus Ministry: Celebrating the Year of Faith.”
Fr. Wilfredo M. Samson SJ, Assistant to the President for Formation and Prof. Alih S. Ayub, Sec Gen, World Interfaith Harmony Partners—Zamboanga City served as the resource speakers /facilitators.
The objectives of the assembly were: a) to recognize and appreciate the richness of our own faith and with renewed trust, hope and fire to respond to the call of the Year of Faith to new evangelization; b) to appreciate more deeply the celebration of the faith in the liturgy through the Eucharistic celebration, especially in the context of the New Roman Missal; c) to have a deeper understanding of other faith and appreciate the importance of engaging ourselves in the Interfaith dialogue, specifically in the school context.
The said event was culminated with updates and planning for the next Campus Ministry Regional Assembly.
