AdZU Campus Ministry hosts the Institutional Living Rosary
The Ateneo de Zamboanga University students, faculty, and staff gathered for an Institutional Living Rosary on November 27, 2013 at the backfield of Fr. Eusebio G. Salvador SJ Campus. The event was hosted by the Campus Ministry Office. The activity aimed to gather everyone as one Ateneo Community to pray the Holy Rosary for the recovery of our city and other areas in Visayas that were affected by human-made and natural calamities.
The activity started at 3:30 in the afternoon and was made possible with the help of the different Alliance of Religious Organizations, Ateneo Blue Blades and Wing Corps, and the ROTC. The Society of the Knights of Ignatius assisted the carriage by bringing the statue of Mary from one mystery to another. The Ateneo Lectors Society led the community in praying the Holy Rosary and the Ateneo Liturgical Society led the community in singing the songs after every mystery. The activity was successful and before ending the activity Fr. Wilfredo M. Samson gave an inspiring message.
