AdZU ACLG. Zuellig Foundation,DOH host the Municipal Leadership and Governance Program

The Ateneo Center for Leadership and Governance (ACLG), with DOH-CHD IX and Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF), conducted the Final Selection Workshop on November 18-22, 2013 for the participating Mayors in the Municipal Leadership and Governance Program (MLGP).

The Final Selection Workshop is a pre-work of the MLGP training program in which the Mayors of the municipalities presented their municipal health situation to the panel composed of the agency directors of the different program implementers – DOH, ZFF, ACLG, DILG, and DSWD. The Mayors were supported by their team that was composed of the Municipal Health Officer (MHO), Municipal Planning and Development Officer (MPDO), and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO).

The activity was joined by 26 municipalities from the provinces of Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Del Norte, and Zamboanga Sibugay. A total of 22 teams were accepted for the training program that will run in three (3) waves in the 1^st quarter of 2014.

The ACLG is the academic partner of the MLGP thereby the provider of the leadership training that will be given to the selected Mayors of the municipalities.
