ACES Corner | Building Partnerships for a Resilient Future

Last January 9, 2026, we had the privilege of meeting with a group of dedicated Grade 12 STEM students from Zamboanga City High School Main. Their visit underscores the importance of fostering collaboration between academic institutions and community-focused projects.

The students are developing innovative research on disaster risk reduction, and we were pleased to discuss how shared data and resources can support their work. Engaging with young innovators is a vital part of building sustainable, long-term solutions for our communities.

This interaction highlights our ongoing commitment to partnership, knowledge-sharing, and empowering the next generation of leaders in environmental stewardship and climate resilience.

Our collaborative efforts are in direct alignment with key UN Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), as we work together toward building resilient and prepared communities.
