BSAc Super Seniors land silver
in All Ateneo Business Case Tilt
Ateneo de Zamboanga
University School of Management and Accountancy’s Super Seniors or 5th-year
students taking up BS Accountancy won the 2nd place in the first-ever,
All-Ateneo Business Case Competition held February 28, 2019, at Xavier
University, Cagayan de Oro.
Team AdZU, composed
of Jolina Banzon, Dave Cervas, Jude Christian Cumayao, and Romel Delosa, were
assessed based on their presentation of the facts
and problems of the case and the corresponding solutions they proposed to
address the problems. The panel of judges was composed of industry leaders,
academicians, and entrepreneurs.
Revolving around the
inaugural case competition theme: “Social Entrepreneurship,” the
competition was participated in by Ateneo de Zamboanga University, and the
other Ateneo Universities in the Philippines namely Ateneo de Cagayan, Ateneo
de Davao, Ateneo de Manila, and Ateneo de Naga.
In a statement,
Cervas shares this triumph to AdZU community most especially to Fr Karel San
Juan SJ and SMA Dean Maynard Bagtasos who gave their trust and confidence to
the #superseniors.
The team also expressed gratitude to the administration for the support and
logistical assistance they received.
Cervas added that
this [triumph] marks the start of the department’s active involvement in case
competitions, both local and international. Their coach, SMA faculty Armee Jay
Cresmundo accompanied them during the competition.
