MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: ASSISTANCE TO THE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON ONDOY
We are all aware of the destruction of lives and properties in the wake of Typhoon Ondoy that hit severely Metro Manila last Saturday. To date, some 150 people may have died and half a million displaced due to the typhoon.
I ask our community to be magnanimous and offer some assistance for the flood victims. SACSI, being the lead group of Quick Response Team (QRT) for relief operations, is tasked to coordinate all our efforts to raise donations. SACSI will give us more details about how we will conduct our fund sourcing campaign. For inquiries, please contact Ms Cellyn A Verallo, SACSI Director, or any of the SACSI staff at local number 2224 or 2225. I urge participation of all in this drive.
Thank you for your cooperation and generosity. Let’s pray for the flood victims and for all those who are assisting them.
