University Infirmary – Mobile Nutrition Program

October 21, 2011

Memo To: The Ateneo Community

RE: Mobile Nutrition Program

Greetings!

As we celebrate this Year of Citizenship, the University Infirmary will be launching its Mobile Nutrition Program on October 29, 2011 with free Medical consultation and free Dental health teaching among children and parents of indigent families in our barangays. The goal of this Program is to promote health awareness, the importance of affordable nutritious meal, as well as to educate the community on the importance of oral hygiene. This program will be carried out on a regular basis, every two to three months and the first barangay that we will visit is the indigenous Badjaos of Maasin specifically catering to the malnourished children.

In this light, we are inviting the members of our AdZU community to be involved with the Program as volunteers or thru cash donations or by donating meals, medicines, toothbrush, toothpaste and other goods for the indigent families.

All donations may be forwarded to the Infirmary or contact local phone number 4800.

We would also like to inform the AdZU Community that the staff of the University Infirmary will be out on the said date however we have assigned Ms. Kristine Mae D. Barredo, RN to attend to any emergency first aid in the clinic.

Thank you.

Lady Ivy Mañalac-Agustin
Infirmary Coordinator
