Dr. Lucas is the Father of Ms. Marietta Lucas, a faculty member of the College of Nursing.
He was a former faculty member of the College of Nursing from 1985-1993, a former Board of Trustees member of Zamboanga Medical School Foundation from 1994 – 2004.
Former member of the Board of Trustees of Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
He was honored as the PRO DEO ET PATRIA awardee last 2001.
