MEMO TO: THE ADZU COMMUNITY
RE: NEW MEMBERS OF THE ADZU BOARD OF TRUSTEES
I am happy to inform the community of the election of Fr Marlito G Ocon SJ and Fr Manuel A Uy Jr SJ to the AdZU Board of Trustees during the Corporation/BOT meeting last 22 February 2014.
Fr Lito Ocon is currently our Basic Education Chaplain and Chair of the Physical Facilities Council. He was formerly the Assistant to the President and Treasurer of Loyola College of Culion in Palawan. Fr Manny Uy is a Zamboangueño and the President of the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu. They replaced Br Raymund E Belleza SJ and Fr Francisco R Bustamante SJ respectively.
Re-elected for another term of three years each are Dr Fortunato L Cristobal, Dean of the AdZU School of Medicine and Dr Alejandrino J Ferreria, President of The One School.
I would like to thank Fr Ocon, Fr Uy, Dr Cristobal, and Dr Ferreria for their willingness to share their time and leadership in the service of the mission of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University
I am also grateful to Fr Bustamante and Atty Raissa Jajurie-Alim for their exemplary witness of service and leadership as BOT members these past years.
