MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY

RE: NEW CPVA DIRECTOR

I am pleased to announce to our community that Ms Tricia Mae D Manulong will be the new Center for Performing and Visual Arts Director effective 01 June 2011 until 31 March 2012.  She replaces Mr Joseph A Climaco, the current CPVA Director.  As the new CPVA Director, Ms Manulong will continue to manage the Gallery of the Peninsula and Archipelago (GPA).  Her additional mandate includes the following:

  1. Work out a university-wide roadmap and agenda on culture and arts;
  2. Implement, monitor and evaluate the university plan on culture and arts;
  3. Coordinate, initiate and promote activities and programs that fall under CPVA’s goals; and
  4. Create partnerships with external groups, organizations and institutions to promote culture and arts.

I thank Ms Manulong for her availability to this job.

I also thank Mr Climaco for his leadership as CPVA Director for four years.

Congratulations to Ms Manulong!
