MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: LAUNCHING OF ADZU IT AND MULTIMEDIA SERVICES
I am very pleased to inform our community that in our last meeting of 28 August 2010, the AdZU BOT (Board of Trustees) has approved of the creation of the “AdZU IT and Multimedia Services.” This newest office of our university will have its soft launching on 14 September 2010, 10.00 AM, Carlos Dominguez Hall, AdZU.
Mr Stevan S Dimaguila from CSIT is the Coordinator of this new office effective 01 June 2010. This new office is a result of collaborative efforts of the various units of AdZU: College of Science and Information Technology, Center of Information Technology Services, Masscom Department of the School of Liberal Arts and the Ateneo Multimedia Program. The AdZU IT and Multimedia Services is tasked to offer services in the area of training, production and consultancy to major stakeholders of Zamboanga City and our region.
I thank and congratulate Mr Dimaguila for his availability to this work. I also thank Ms Monabelle B Delgado and the members of the ad hoc preparatory committee for doing the spadework to create this new office.
With this new office, we hope to upscale our IT and multimedia work beyond AdZU and be of service to the wider community.
