RE: LA PARROQUIA COFFEE TABLE BOOK
I am happy to inform you that the Limited-Edition Coffee Table Book titled “La Parroquia: The Catholic Church in Zamboanga 1910-2010” was released last week in Manila. Copies are expected to arrive in Zamboanga City this week. As part of the 100 years celebration of the Catholic Church in Zamboanga, this project is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Zamboanga in partnership with the Ateneo de Zamboanga University. The authors of the book are Dr Aireen Barrios-Arnuco (on leave) and Ms Ma Christina A Cañones, both from the School of Liberal Arts (SLA).
Due to be launched on 20 December 2011 at 5:00 PM at the Fort Pilar National Museum Courtyard, the book is now available for early orders. I invite you to its book launch. Book sale made on or before the launching day shall get a special discount of Php 400.00. The cost of the book after the launch is Php 2,000.00.
For those faculty and staff who wish to avail of the book, payment can be made through salary deduction payable within the month of December 2011. Please see or contact Ms Sheila L Pagotasidro of the Project’s Office for more details.
