MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : FEAST OF ST IGNATIUS MASSES AND SERVICE AWARDS
In honor of St Ignatius of Loyola, our patron saint and founder of the Society of Jesus, we shall have our anticipated celebration of the feast from the 25th to the 27th of July (Monday to Wednesday) through masses and service award programs for the different units.
On July 27, there will be a premiere at the Cinema 2 of the KCC de Zamboanga Mall of the muchanticipated film, Ignacio de Loyola which will be shown until August 2, 2016.
For the masses and service awards program, please be guided by the following:
GRADE SCHOOL
The Eucharistic Celebration is on Wednesday, July 27 at 8:00 AM at the JHS Lobby at the
Fr William H Kreutz SJ Campus in Tumaga. Fr Stephen T Abuan SJ, is the main celebrant with Bro Lloyd V Sabio SJ as homilist. This will be followed by the Service Award Program for Grade School faculty and staff.
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The Eucharistic Celebration is on Monday, July 25 at 7:30 AM at the JHS LOBBY at the Fr William H Kreutz SJ Campus in Tumaga. Fr Arnel “Atong” Ong SJ, Basic Education Chaplain, is the main celebrant, with Bro EdRyan Paul J Colmenares SJ as homilist. The Service Award Program for Junior High School faculty and staff will be within the mass, before the final blessing.
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, HIGHER EDUCATION, & CENTRAL SERVICES
The Eucharistic Celebration is on Tuesday, July 26 at 10:00 AM at the Multi-Purpose
Covered Courts (MPCC) at the Fr Eusebio Salvador SJ Campus in La Purisima. Fr Francisco “Koko” Parilla SJ, Assistant College Chaplain, is the main celebrant and homilist. The Service Award Program for Senior High School, Higher Education and Central Services will follow the mass.
There will no work and classes for all levels on 29 July (Friday).
I invite the AdZU Community to be present and to participate in these institutional activities.
As we commemorate his feast day, may the spirit of St Ignatius imbue us with the strength and resolve to rise above the challenges we are facing so that we can continue our work in the service of our mission.
