MEMO TO: THE ADZU COMMUNITY
RE: ASSIGNMENT OF MR ROBERTO G VALERIO AS EXTERNAL RELATIONS OFFICER FOR INDUSTRY AND DEVELOPMENT
I am pleased to announce the assignment of Mr Roberto G Valerio as External Relations Officer for Industry and Development of the Social Development Office of the University. This is effective December 1, 2013 to March 31, 2015. He will report to the Assistant to the President for Social Development, Fr Albert E Alejo, SJ. I have also accepted his resignation as Assistant to the President for Planning and External Relations.
Apart from his fifteen units of teaching load under the Graduate school and the School of Management and Accountancy, Mr Valerio’s external relations function will now be lodged under the Social Development Office so it will be integrated in the University’s directions for social development. He will focus on maintaining University linkages with the business and industry sector to strengthen our partnership in our thrust of engaged citizenship and nation building. Part of this task is to work closely with the Movement for Better Zamboanga (MBZ), where he is Secretary and Fr Alejo is the President.
I would like to thank Mr Valerio for accepting this new assignment, and for serving as the Assistant to the President for Planning and External Relations for the SY 2011-2013.
