In a bid for efficient delivery of services in the Ateneo de Zamboanga community, the four-storey Jose Rosauro, SJ Hall had its blessing on June 8, Saturday. The edifice will soon be the home of all offices and institutes allied with the Social Development Council, in addition to being a dormitory for faculty, staff, and students.
Fr. Albert E. Alejo, SJ, the assistant to the university president for social development, lauded the accomplishment of the project as proof of Ateneo’s unwavering commitment to excellence in social impact during his welcome remarks. The director of the Human Resource and Development Office, Engr. Aldrin A. Hitalia, read the dedication that was followed by the cutting of the ribbon and unveiling of the marker by Father President Antonio F Moreno SJ and Engr Efren Wee, current chair of the university board of trustees.
Also present were Atty. Arsenio Gonzalez, the former chair of the said body, and other university administration officials.
