The Ateneo de Zamboanga University Concert Band, under the baton of Maestro Apolonio Enriquez, will give local enthusiasts and fans a chance to enjoy their music in the upcoming concert “Music and You” on February 6, 2010 at the Multi-Purpose Covered Courts in the ADZU La Purisima Campus. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm.
The concert is a fund raising event of the ADZU College Parents Council. Proceeds will be used for the council’s scholarship fund and for the construction of a covered walk. This school year, the ADZU Concert Band staged successful concerts in Davao City and Cagayan de Oro City.
Mr. Enriquez is ably assisted by Ms Geraldine Turno and Mr Kiko Miranda as artistic directors. Tickets are available at the different colleges and departments of the university.
