CSITE GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2024 | The Faculty and Staff  Come Together for a Day of Faith in Fellowship

The College of Science, Information Technology, and Engineering (CSITE) held a general assembly on August 30, 2024, at Rosendo U. Castillo, Jr. College of Law, Jose Maria Rosario Formation Center. Faculty and staff from the CSITE were present during this important event, which welcomed new members and promoted collaboration and inclusivity.

The open flow of conversations during this event allowed everyone to align on strategic goals, discuss challenges and opportunities, and promote professional development. Dr. Jocelyn D. Partosa, the CSITE Dean, shared the college’s accomplishments from the last school year and early this year. She emphasized the importance of collaboration and striving for institutional excellence in delivering high-quality education and research, ultimately contributing to the continuous improvement of the college and its programs.

The Keynote Speaker, Dr. Jane D. Bascar, the Human Resource and Administration Development (HRADO) Director, she highlighted the significance of cura personalis in every work environment particularly at Ateneo, and how this helps individuals become discerning members for and with others. Dr. Bascar also responded to questions from CSITE faculty members and staff on old and new policies, the faculty handbook, and other matters. Dr. Bascar and Dr. Partosa assisted in the town hall session, addressing queries and concerns from faculty and staff members.

The assembly concluded with a raffle draw via the wheel of names with some door prizes sponsored by Virginia Food Incorporated, followed by a fellowship that took place during lunch. Indeed, collaboration can help us navigate more easily, making it more attainable to steer towards our mission. This assembly marks the beginning of working together for this academic year to serve God and our country.
