The Ateneo Debate Union of Ateneo de Zambonga University has once again successfully defended their title in the 30th Mindanao Parliamentary Debate Championship (MPDC) marking AdZU’s 4th consecutive championship. This win, sets the record of the longest streak in winning the title in the 14 year history of MPDC. This year’s MPDC was held in Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City on September 5-7, 2014.
– Team C (Ruby Calletor & Pjey Fidel) was awarded as the tournament’s champion and was the 13th ranking team in the eliminations.
– Team D (Kim Senerez & Kurt Recinto) reached the semifinals and was the tournament’s 9th ranking team in the eliminations.
– Team B (Allen Sanoria & Asraf Baird) reached the quarterfinals and was the 24th ranking team in the eliminations.
– Team A (Andre Dagoy & Darren Biri) reached the pre-quarterfinals and was the 16th ranking team in the eliminations.
– Team E (Roma De Leon & Romel Delosa) was the 32th ranking team in the eliminations.
– Dr Ellery Ivan Apolinario was the 2nd Best Adjudicator of the tournament.
