ADZU College Faculty Club Sponsors Free
Medical Services for the Faculty and Staff
The ADZU College
Faculty Club (CFC), in
partnership with Philippine Pharmacists Association – Zamboanga Chapter, headed
by its President Ms. Delia Wong, the Ateneo School of Medicine, College of
Nursing, University Infirmary, Tsu-Chi Eye Center Foundation, and United
Laboratory (UNILAB), sponsored a “Free Medical, Eye and Dental Check Up” on
April 30, 2013. The Free Medical Services was held at the Ateneo Nursing Skills
Laboratory and University Infirmary.
The Beneficiaries of the said event were the university’s
faculty, staff, security personnel, maintenance workers and their immediate
family. The patients were given free check up and free medicines. A total of
five hundred (500) patients benefited from the said project. The project
sponsored roughly four hundred pesos (P400) worth of free service for each
patient, amounting to a total of two hundred thousand pesos (P200,000) plus an
estimate of one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000) worth of free medicines
sponsored by our partner in the pharmaceutical industry.
