Admission Policies and Requirements
1. New First year Students:
a. ATCU (GSA) score of 474, and when ranked belong to the top 300
b. High School general average of 80.00% or above
c. Certificate of good moral character
d. Physically and mentally fit
e. Marriage Certificate, for married students
f. Below 50 years old (present birth certificate)
g. Pass the entry interview
h. Pass the NAT examination
2. Transferees from other schools:
a. ATCU (GSA score is 474)
b. Weighted Percentage Average (WPA) of 85.00% from the last semester attended
c. Below 50 years old (present photocopy of birth certificate)
d. The following nursing subjects should be taken in ADZU: Nursing Theoretical Foundation, Nursing Health Assessment, all Nursing Care Management subjects, Botany 205, Zoology 205 and other related nursing subjects like Nutrition, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Nursing Research, except those from Level III Accredited Schools
e. A grade of 1.5 (80.00%) for the following: Math 101, Chemistry 101 and 204, Physics 111
f. Pass the oral interview
3. Shiftees from other programs in ADZU:
a. ATCU (GSA score of 474)
b. Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 (WPA) of 83.00% from the last semester attended
c. Below 50 years old (present photocopy of birth certificate)
d. Pass the interview
Note: To earn an Ateneo diploma, 75% of the total number of units must be taken in ADZU.
If a student is found to be physically or mentally unfit, the school has the right to refuse admission.
I. Physical handicaps include:
a. Speech and hearing disturbances
b. Legal blindness
c. Motor-sensory disturbances
d. Deformed extremities or any part of the body
e. Activity intolerance (ischemia)
f. Seizures/Convulsions
g. Heart/Brain/Spinal Cord disorders or conditions of any vital organ

*Conditions that will interfere in providing adequate nursing care to clients
All applicants must undergo physical examination by the school physician every year.
