September 6, 2012, Cawa-Cawa Boulevard. The School of Management & Accountancy (SMA) celebrated its centennial SMA Week on September 1-6, 2012. The highlight of the celebration is a response to environment. SMA Students, together with faculty, assembled at Cawa-Cawa Boulevard at 6 o’clock in the morning on September 6, 2012 to clean up the place.
The activity was part of SMA’s environmental consideration and integration to business and entrepreneurial courses related to corporate social responsibility. This is also part of connecting principles and theories to actual and real scenarios affecting environment brought about by commerce and trade.
Showing their support, the SMA students together with the SMA Dean Maynard Bagtasos, Accountancy Department Chair Jane Bascar, faculty members Armee Jay Cresmundo, Paul Christian Marcial, Edwin Pamaran, Magdalena Dagalea, and Francis Arroyo and SMA Secretary Ma. Lucia Bernardo gathered to do their share in preserving a clean environment in the identified area.
