MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: NEW PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS
I am happy to inform you that in the April 2011 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in the Secondary level (BSED), AdZU posted an overall passing rate of 70% (i.e., 7/10 examinees) passed the exams. The first timers had a passing rate of 85.71% (i.e., 6/7 passed the LET).
The national average passing rate is 26.28 % (7,690 out of 29,267 passed).
Unfortunately, our lone examinee for the elementary level (BEED) did not pass the LET.
I would like to thank the School of Education led by its Dean, Dr Evelyn G Chavez, for this fine performance.
