As the high school faculty gears up for the coming school year, seven faculty members underwent training on animation using Adobe Flash. This is to further enhance their skills at preparing and developing IT-integrated instructional materials and to augment the pool of IT-skilled personnel in the high school community. The participants were Vicente S. Luzon, Larraine F. Fernando, Hannah O. Osario, Mussin R. Misuari, Jerwyn C. Tabotabo, Espiridion D. Atilano, Jr., and Gelina M. Tuangco.
This forms part of a series of IT trainings, now on its fourth season, spearheaded by the Center of Information Technology Services of Ateneo de Zamboanga University. These trainings are scheduled for four Saturdays, from May 14-June 4.
Recently, Rosie S. Roquero, chair of the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) department underwent training on Website Development using the software program Joomla. While Jeffrey DC Barerra attended the session on Desktop Publishing using Adobe Photoshop.
