AdZU Gallery presents Artworks of Alumni Artists
The Gallery of the Peninsula and the Archipelago opened an art exhibit entitled “Nacimiento” featuring artists who are registered nurses and all alumni of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University. The group exhibit was unveiled last August 15, 2011 and will run until September 03, 2011. The participating artists are Enrico Estoque, Chinkee Dianne Gregorio, Kerwin Ilano, Evie Jaine Tanjusay, and Justin May Toregosa.
“Nacimiento” revolves around the concept of revitalization and reawakening of the natural world, condensed in a naturalistic, organic and ecstatic ecosphere theme and highlighted by the emotional element of care and compassion. The artworks displayed focus on images of humanity as caretakers of the world being the indispensable oasis of life.
