In partnership with the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET), RHO Laboratory and Medical Supplies and Ateneo de Zamboanga University Alumni Association (AAA), the Ateneo Centennial scholars (ACES) marshaled the first Kalusugan ay Isulong Natin (KAIN) project at Don Gregorio Evangelista Memorial School, Brgy Sta Catalina.
The beneficiaries of the said program were sixty (60) Grade 3 pupils of Don Gregorio Evangelista Memorial School. Young children are more vulnerable to diseases, thus, ACES initiated the KAIN program to teach them proper hygiene. They were oriented on how to wash their hands by RHO Laboratory and Medical Supplies Co-CEO, Ma Erma P Dormido. With her was PAMET Zamboanga Chapter President M. Pamela T Mantujac who gave a talk on the importance of proper hand hygiene. Pharmaceutical products courtesy of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University Alumni Associaton were also donated to the school.
