I will be on-leave from October 1 onwards to attend in Rome the 36th General Congregation (GC 36) of the Society of Jesus. I have been elected as one of the delegates of the Philippine Province Jesuits to the GC 36 where the next Superior General of the Society will be elected, and directions of the global Society of Jesus will be set.
Fr Richard V Ella SJ, Assistant to the President for Administration, will be the Officer-in-Charge during my absence.
I ask and thank you for your prayers for GC 36, for the Society of Jesus, and the renewal of its leadership and mission.
