MEMO TO : THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE : UNIVERSITY ADVOCACY GROUP
The
current socio-political situation has become more complex and critical, calling
for quick responses in analysis, advocacy, and action. I am hereby creating the
Ateneo de Zamboanga University Advocacy Group and it will be tasked with the
following:
1. Monitor
current news and issues of socio-political concern, and take the lead in
analysis and synthesis of perspectives and positions of different individuals
and groups;
2. Propose
to the President courses of action in response to these issues and concerns.
These actions can take the form of advocacy in social and mainstream media; and
3. Ensure
that analysis, advocacy, and action are consistent with, and promotive of
AdZU’s vision, mission, and goals, as framed in the ADZU STRATEGIC PLAN
2017-2022.
The
