SERVING UP WELLNESS | AdZU Launches FS Pickleball Saturday

In line with Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s commitment to promoting holistic well-being and fostering a healthy work-life balance among its employees, the Vice President for Administration, in coordination with the Human Resource Administration and Development Office (HRADO) and Unit Infirmaries, successfully launched the Faculty and Staff Pickleball Saturday on June 13, 2026.

The initiative brought together faculty and staff members for a vibrant morning of physical activity, camaraderie, and community building. Through the growing sport of pickleball, participants were provided with an opportunity to engage in recreational exercise while strengthening connections with colleagues across the university.

The successful launch was made possible through the support and collaboration of various offices and individuals. AdZU extends its sincere gratitude to the Office of the Vice President for Administration, the Human Resource Administration and Development Office, and the Unit Infirmaries for their invaluable assistance in making the activity possible.

Special appreciation is also extended to Coaches Jay, Luke, and Regine for sharing their expertise and guidance throughout the event. Most importantly, to all faculty and staff participants whose enthusiasm and active involvement contributed to the positive and energetic atmosphere of the launch.

For inquiries, contact the University Infirmary at 991-0871 local 4800.

As the program continues in the coming weeks, the university looks forward to welcoming more members of the Ateneo community to participate in future pickleball sessions and wellness initiatives.
