The Office of Student Affairs gathers the Student Leaders to reflect on Ignatian Leadership Values
As part of its annual program for leadership development, the Office of Student Affairs organized a two-day leadership seminar for presidents and representatives of AdZU college student organizations on August 28 to 29 at the Fr Eusebio Salvador SJ Campus in La Purisima.
Dubbed as “Time with Student Leaders”, this seminar’s theme centered on Ignatian leadership values, and was designed to form not generic student leaders, but leaders who embody Ignatian ideals. It also aimed to establish networks among the student organizations in AdZU.
There were two sessions on the first day: Ignatian Leadership by the University President, Fr Karel S San Juan SJ; and, Student Leadership Formation by the Student Affairs Director, Engr. Steven S Dimaguila.
The second day activitieswere led by the alumni of Ateneo Student Leaders Assembly and members of IgnITE Formation Organization.
The seminar concluded with a mass presided by Fr Wilfredo M Samson SJ, Assistant to the President for Formation. This was followed by the testimonial sharing by the participants and the certificate ceremony.
