- Female employees are entitled to a maximum of “two (2) months leave with full pay based on gross monthly compensation following surgery caused by gynecological disorders, provided that she has rendered continuous aggregate employment service of at least six (6) months for the last 12 months. This two-month leave is in addition to leave privileges under existing laws.” (DOLE DO #112-11 pursuant to Section 21-B of the IRR of RA 9710)
- Victims of violence (as provided by RA 9262 or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 ) are entitled to take a paid leave of absence up to ten (10) days in addition to other paid leaves under the Labor Code, extendible when the necessity arises as specified in the protection order.
