Reflecting on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, and meditating deeply on Christ’s suffering and ultimate sacrifice for the salvation of humanity, the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) community filled the Salvador campus with faith and devotion as they came together for the Way of the Cross 2026, a solemn annual tradition that strengthens both personal and communal faith while reaffirming the university’s dedication to holistic formation where spiritual growth accompanies academic excellence.
Held on March 27, 2026, at the Salvador Campus, led by the Formation Office, Participants retraced the 14 Stations of the Cross, each representing a key moment in Christ’s suffering and ultimate sacrifice.
Institutional Way of the Cross 2026 serves as a spiritual pilgrimage that unites the Ateneo family in faith. By walking together through the Stations, students, faculty, and staff were invited to internalize the Paschal Mystery and to draw inspiration to live out the values of sacrifice, service, and hope in their daily lives.
