MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY AND ATENEO FIESTA
Please be informed of the events prior to and during the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary, the Ateneo Patroness, on 08 December, Tuesday, the highlight of our fiesta celebration. Following the new guidelines on celebrating this solemnity as issued by the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) and endorsed by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), I am declaring it as a non-academic day to celebrate more meaningfully the event (rather than calling off classes and offices). The details of this non-academic day will be conveyed to you by your respective unit heads and the Formation Office. The schedule of our Ateneo Fiesta 2009 is as follows:
