School of Education takes pride on 100% BLEPT Batch 2015 passing rate

The AdZU School of Education has once again obtained 100%batch passing rate for the September 2015Board Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced results last November 30 and the following takers, March 2015 graduates of Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) have successfully passed the teachers’ board:

“Over the years, we have strived to produce licensed teachers who are equipped with the values of excellence, citizenship, and spirituality for they play a vital role in society when they become certified educators,” says School of Education Dean Dr. Evelyn Chavez. “These values are imperative in the Ateneo education and are imparted by professors of high caliber,” she added.

The national passing rates for the elementary and secondary levels are 31% and 42%, respectively. PRC results reveal that for AdZU School of Education, first timers’ passing rates are 75% (3 out of 4) for BEEd and 89% (33 out of 37) for BSEd.This year, AdZU’s overall passing rate for BEEd is 60% and for BSEd 80%.

Bachelor of Elementary Education graduates have consistently obtained 100% batch passing rate since 2011.
