On October 9, 2024, Ms. Welma Omboy attended the Cave Committee Meeting, while Ms. Honey Ramos participated in the review and updating of the Protected Area Management Plan for the Great and Little Sta. Cruz Islands Protected Landscape and Seascape. Both events, held at Astoria Hotel in Zamboanga City, underscored the active involvement of ACES in environmental advocacy.

These back-to-back discussions highlighted their crucial roles as members of the Technical Working Group, emphasizing the organization’s commitment to the conservation and sustainable management of vital protected areas.
