MEMO TO: ADZU COMMUNITY
RE: PILGRIMAGE AND NOVENA MASS IN HONOR OF THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF THE PILAR
On October 6, 2011 (Thursday) the Ateneo de Zamboanga University will be sponsoring the Novena Mass in celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Fort Pilar. We will also have a Pilgrimage from Ateneo Main Campus to the Fort Pilar Shrine. Let’s gather in front of the LRC building at 3:00 P.M. and begin our procession to Fort Pilar at 3:30 P.M.
Bring ROSARY and WEAR BLUE to highlight the Marian color, as well as the Ateneo presence.
The Eucharist will begin at 5:00 P.M. Fr. Edwin Castillo, SJ and Fr.Tony Moreno,SJ will be the main presider and homilist respectively.
Classes and Offices in the High School will end at 12:00 noon. Graduate School classes are left to the discretion of their instructors. Tertiary classes will be called off and offices will be closed from 2:55 P.M. to allow our students, faculty and staff to join the pilgrimage and the Novena Mass.
