MEMO TO:THE ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA UNIVERSITY (ADZU) COMMUNITY
RE: OFFICIAL TURN OVER FROM FR WILFREDO M SAMSON SJ TO FR KAREL S SAN JUAN SJ
I wish to inform the community that effective 08 October 2013, Tuesday, Fr Karel S San Juan SJ shall assume office as the 3rd President of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University. All matters that need the attention and approval of the University President should be coursed through him.
I thank the community, especially the Presidential Management Team (PMT), for all the cooperation and support extended to me during my term as the University OIC. I shall continue to be of service to the University as the Assistant to the President for Formation.
As one community, let us give our best to proactively support Fr Karel as he begins to lead the University through all the challenges and effects of the “Zamboanga Crisis” on our institution, our City, and the Zamboanga Peninsula.
Welcome Fr Karel! May the Nuestra Señora La Virgen del Pilar, whose feast we are celebrating on October 12, guide you always as the new leader of AdZU.
