The
Nursing Angels brought home the bacon bagging Bronze in the 1st West
Metro Inter-Nursing School Battle of the Nightingales held February 23, 2017 at
the KCC Mall de Zamboanga
The
event, sponsored by the West Metro Medical Center, is a region-wide event where
Nursing students of different universities and colleges competed to outwit other
teams in terms of knowledge in the management of client’s care.
This
was held in collaboration with the Philippines Nurses Association and the
Zamboanga City Health Office
Aiming
to create a venue for recognizing the knowledge of future nurses and to foster
a culture of appreciation for the nursing arts, Dean Lorna Paber says that this
quiz bowl creates an environment for students to participate in competitive
events which will aid in building up their confidence, self-esteem, and
assertiveness to free situations in the future.
