MEMO TO: THE ADZU COMMUNITY
RE: NEW UNIVERSITY TREASURER
I am pleased to inform the community that the AdZU Board of Trustees, during its regular meeting held last 24 August 2013, and acting on the recommendations of parties concerned, has approved the appointment of MS ANGELA L BAES as the new University Treasurer effective 01 October 2013 to 31 March 2016.
Ms Baes was born on 06 January 1952 in Zamboanga City. She is an AdZU Alumna, Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Accounting Batch 1972. She has worked as a Bookkeeper at our Finance Office for the period 1974-75. In October 1975, she started her career as a banker with the United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) where she was promoted as the Branch Manager in 1999 and continues to serve at present as the bank’s Branch Manager with the level of Assistant Vice President.
I would like to profoundly thank Br Raymund E Belleza SJ for his invaluable leadership as our University Treasurer and as Assistant to the President for Administration and Finance for the past six (6) years. Our prayers go with him as he prepares for his tertianship in Australia.
I would also like to thank the Search Committee led by Mr Maynard R Bagtasos for their great work.
