Invitation to a Social Entrepreneurship Seminar-Workshop
Greetings of Peace!
The Ateneo Center for Leadership and Governance (ACLG) is spearheading several projects on leadership and governance for the residents of Zamboanga City, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-tawi. This is mainly to help by working with the people and making them realize their worth in nation building. One of the objectives of our program called, “Engaged Citizenship and Democracy Building” is to strengthen communities specifically in an area where they needed the most – economic stability.
Hence this coming October 26, 2011 we will be hosting a Social Entrepreneurship seminar-workshop coined as “Entreprende de progreso”. This will be held at Celebrity Hall, Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City from 8:OO o’ clock – 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon.
In this light, we would like to invite you and the community you are working with to attend this activity. We highly encourage those who are engaged in livelihood projects, business enterprises or in any entrepreneurial-related job to be part of this opportunity. Registration fee is only P100 (with free Lunch and AM/PM snacks).
We hope to cater to about a hundred participants who will mostly be coming from the different Barangays in the city, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-tawi. Participants will be trained to be better entrepreneurs by one of the founders of the famous Rags to Riches project of Payatas, Fr. Xavier “Javy” Alpasa, SJ and his colleague in this endeavor.
