MEMO TO: UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
RE: FR AUREO G NEPOMUCENO SJ, 1921-2014
The Ateneo de Zamboanga University mourns the passing of Fr. Aureo G Nepomuceno, SJ. He passed away this morning, May 20, at around 2am at The Medical City Intensive Care Unit. He was 93 years old. Fr. Nepo was a member of the AdZU Jesuit Community for many years. He was transferred to the Jesuit Infirmary in Loyola House of Studies last October 2013.
Wake Masses for Fr. Nepo begins tonight at 8PM at Loyola House of Studies Chapel, Ateneo de Manila University. Funeral Mass will be on Friday at 8AM at the same place. Interment follows immediately after the Friday funeral mass at Sacred Heart Novitiate, Novaliches.
