First Strokes Year 7 concludes with a Culminating Activity

This year’s summer visual arts program entitled “First Strokes Year 7” concluded on May 3 2014. Instructors and 74 summer visual arts students gathered at the Carlos Dominguez Conference Hall to celebrate this milestone through a Culminating Activity.

The courses offered in the program were basic drawing (toddler), drawing for kids, cartooning, drawing (anime), basic painting, basic photoshop, and basic photography.

The following students were awarded as the best in their specific courses: Jarild Ken Maravilla (Anime), Adonel Mico Baguio (Drawing for kids), Princess Ozryl Natividada (Drawing for Kids), Chance Panganiban (Drawing for kids), Katie Lou Sata. Maria (Drawing for kids), Ethan Josh Perez (Cartooning), Beverly Yu (Painting and Photography), Rozel Dominique Bangalando (Painting), Gia Evangelista (Painting), Andryx Lei Panaguiton (Drawing for Toddlers), Andriana Beceril (Drawing for Toddlers), Aaron Justin Perez (Drawing for Toddlers), Riane Beatrice Sontillano (Photoshop), and Alexie Villarin (Photoshop).

The program also included a ribbon cutting ceremony for the showcasing of the students’ works at the AdZU Gallery of Peninsula and the Archipelago. The exhibit will run until June 15, 2014. Admission is free.
