MEMO TO: THE ATENEO COMMUNITY
RE: FEAST OF ST IGNATIUS
We will celebrate the Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola, Founder of the Society of Jesus, on 29 July, Friday. The schedule of activities is as follows:
7.45 AM – Grade School Mass & Service Awards, Sacred Heart Chapel
9.45 AM – Central Services and Colleges Service Awards, MPCC
10.30 AM – Mass, MPCC & Blessing of Sauras Hall
2.00 PM – High School Mass, HS Lobby, WHK Campus
I urge participation of Catholics in these Masses. There will be no classes and offices for units concerned during these Masses.
Since the actual Feast of St Ignatius falls on a Sunday (31 July), after consulting parties concerned, I am declaring 01 August, Monday, a study day. This means there will be no offices and classes at all levels.
May the life and spirit of St Ignatius continue to influence our lives and actions.
