The Ateneo de Zamboanga University’s Social Development Office (SDO) and Center for Community Extension Services (CCES) celebrated the agricultural richness of Lapaz and Limpapa farmers during the Ateneo Fiesta Agri-Fair, held from December 9 to 12, 2024, at the College Lobby.

The event showcased the hard work and dedication of local farmers, offering a wide variety of fresh, affordable produce to attendees. It highlighted the thriving partnership between the university and these farming communities, emphasizing shared values of growth, unity, and collaboration.

Beyond being a marketplace, the Agri-Fair served as a platform to strengthen community ties, demonstrating the university’s commitment to supporting local agriculture and sustainable practices.

The Agri-Fair is a vital part of the Ateneo Fiesta, symbolizing the university’s ongoing efforts to empower local farmers and foster lasting, meaningful collaborations. Moving forward, the SDO, CCES, and partner farmers aim to continue cultivating initiatives that strengthen agricultural sustainability and support community development.
