Faculty club conducts basic computer literacy training for marines

The ADZU College Faculty Club conducted a basic computer literacy training for members of the Marine Battallion Landing Team 1, now based in the city, on April 24 to 25, 2015 at the SMA Computer Laboratory at Salvador Campus.

The activity was organized in partnership with the Office of the Academic President and the Management Department of the School of Management and Accountancy (SMA), headed by Dr. Josephine L. Dajuela.

Faculty Club president Journal A. Pangan, a professor at SMA said the objective of the training was to equip Marines with basic skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

The training was attended by 29 soldiers of MBLT 1. Major Ramil DC Holgado and 1st LT Arwin O Ibañez of MBLT expressed their gratitude to the school for the help extended to their men.

Training facilitators were members of the SMA faculty: Dajuela, Francis H. Arroyo, Dexter C. Velez, and Christian Paul M.  Marcial.

The training secretariat consisted of Cristine Therese M. Marcial, Jennifer Violet A. Cabiles and Louriane Mae A. Gallardo.
